Castille, in reference to history in particular, Blanche of Castille, was the wife of King Louis VIII of France and mother of King Louis IX, who became Saint Louis.

The history of France tells that Saint Louis said of his mother "my mother becomes the White Queen ... dazzling ... noble, serious, proud, tenacious ... a generous soul ... had the courage of a man in the heart of a woman ...." Her beauty and her intelligence was second to none. A woman with an extraordinary personality who will dominate the 13th century with her character and her courage. This portrait of a virtuous woman who knew how to accept and pass through trials with courage is still today a model for the women.

 

Like this extraordinary queen, a rose bears her name, the White Rose of Castille. Very robust, not very sensitive to diseases this flower is pure white and its fragrance is intense. This is why some of our treatments are scented with rose.
